Shalom to you brothers and Sisters in Yeshua. On behalf of ONMI and BIMK, I am wishing you a blessed Hanukkha and Blessed Christmas 2025. Messianic Hanukkah celebrates the historical rededication of the Temple by the Maccabees, but for Messianic believers, it's deeply connected to Jesus (Yeshua) as the fulfillment of its themes: God's faithfulness, light overcoming darkness, and spiritual restoration, especially linking to Yeshua calling Himself the "Light of the World" and His presence at the Feast of Dedication (John 10:22) where He affirmed His divine unity with the Father. It's about rededicating one's life to God through Messiah, seeing Jesus as the ultimate Temple and source of eternal light, fulfilling the hopes of cleansing and divine presence. , Yeshua (Jesus) declared, "I am the light of the world; whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life," primarily in John 8:12, signifying His role as the divine source of truth, guidance, and spiritual understanding, illuminating a world lost in sin and ignorance, and offering eternal life to those who follow Him.

Yeshua's (Jesus') birth in the Bible fulfills numerous Old Testament prophecies, notably from Isaiah and Micah, detailing His miraculous virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23), His Bethlehem birthplace (Micah 5:2, Matthew 2:6), His divine titles (Isaiah 9:6), and His escape to Egypt (Hosea 11:1, Matthew 2:14-15), establishing Him as the promised Messiah, King, and God with His people, Emmanuel.
Therefore, as we celebrate Christmas, we remember The birth of Yeshua which is is important because we believe it marks God becoming human (Incarnation) to fulfill Biblical prophecies which He laid out in the Old Testament to offer human race in Adam a way to be saved from sin and reconciled to God, provide a perfect sacrifice, and bring hope, peace, and a new covenant through His life, death, and resurrection, establishing a path to eternal life. It signifies God's immense love and grace, making Him accessible as "God with us" (Emmanuel).

Key Reasons for its Significance:
Fulfillment of Prophecy: Jesus' birth fulfilled ancient promises of a Messiah who would save His people.
Incarnation of God: God Himself, the eternal Word, became flesh and blood in Jesus, bridging the gap between the divine and human.
Salvation from Sin: His birth made possible His perfect life, sacrificial death on the cross, and resurrection, which overcome sin and death for humanity.
Reconciliation with God: Through Jesus, people can be restored to a relationship with God, receiving forgiveness and eternal life.
Hope and Peace: It brought the promise of hope, peace on earth, and the ability to be deeply known and loved by God.
A Mediator and New Covenant: Jesus serves as the mediator for a new covenant, offering a better way than the old laws.
A Model of God's Love: It demonstrates God's immense love and initiative in seeking out humanity, showing that salvation comes through His power, not human effort.
In essence, for believers, Jesus' birth is the pivotal event that changed history, opening a way for spiritual rebirth and a transformed life
Summary of ONMI 2025 mission activities and our goals for 2026: Your participation will be significantly influenced by our team's understanding in South Sudan and you as our benefactors in the USA of the global dynamics under President Trump's leadership, which is reshaping global politics, the economy, NGOs, and religious charities.
It will be 2 years by January 4th, 2026, that ONMI has been operating under a new administration called the Restructuring and Management Leadership Team. This new ONMI mission initiative for restructuring also coincided with the coming of the new US administration under President Trump that put American interests first and urged countries to reduce global dependence on American USAID or even American charities.
This important development in the USA, where ONMI raises its support to launch its developmental work in South Sudan, cannot be ignored because the same policy affects 99% of ONMI's American benefactors who are supporting ONMI's long term developmental initiatives helping the Christian community to rebuild their lives from the ashes of war, displacement, and persecution here in South Sudan to stand on their feet and not rely on UN hand out.
Therefore, we are moving away from relief dependence to long-term development for permanent sustainable living. The vision and goal of ONMI are realigned with the spiritual, political, and economic dynamics taking place in the USA. Therefore, we are to return the ONMI mission and focus back to its original motive of existence: to use all the resources raised from the USA over the years and ongoing to create long and sustainable development for the South Sudanese Christians who have returned from exile after more than 20 years of war and displacement to rebuild their lives from the ashes of war and displacement, which will propel them to tap into the resources of their brand new independent Republic of South Sudan that came into existence on July 9th, 2011.
Implementation is a challenge: In 2025, with a measured and adjusted approach to fundraising reflecting the renewed focus of ONMI, as the founder and CEO of ONMI, I spent 8 months in South Sudan working side by side with the director of ground operations and the departmental leaders to oversee the changes that we put in place in 2024. The new administration under the restructuring has been refocusing the mindsets of our various departmental leaders to sharpen their minds and resolve to address permanent and sustainable agricultural initiatives to create permanent food security where the community is encouraged to stamp out hunger and live within their own means. Examples:
1- The Kehillah (church) Community of Christian leaders is actively engaged in fulfilling their divine callings as outlined in the Great Commission, which emphasizes the importance of spreading the Gospel and making disciples of all nations. Their evangelistic outreaches are not limited to a single location; rather, they extend into a diverse array of communities, including Kerepi, Moli, Loa, Mugali, Aswa, and Nimule in the Eastern Equatoria state, as well as Rumbek in Lake state. Each of these areas presents unique challenges and opportunities for ministry, as they are home to a variety of cultural backgrounds and socio-economic conditions. Furthermore, the Kehillah community is also reaching out to the Bibia, Nyikachi, and several refugee camps located in northern Uganda, where they are addressing the spiritual and physical needs of displaced individuals and families. Through these efforts, the community aims to not only share the message of hope and salvation found in Jesus Christ but also to provide practical support and encouragement to those who are suffering and in need.
2- ONMI's Gospel Radio station, broadcasting at 97.3 FM, plays a crucial role in this mission by reaching tens of thousands of people across the airwaves of South Sudan on a daily basis. This radio station serves as a vital communication tool, disseminating uplifting music, inspirational messages, and teachings that resonate with the local population. The programming is designed to cater to the spiritual needs of listeners, offering them a sense of community and connection, particularly in regions where access to churches and traditional gatherings may be limited. By leveraging the power of radio, ONMI is able to bridge geographical divides, ensuring that even those in remote areas can hear the Gospel message and receive encouragement in their faith. The impact of this outreach is profound, as it not only fosters spiritual growth but also encourages listeners to engage with their local communities, share their faith, and participate in the broader mission of the church.
In 2025, we successfully grew our own food to sustain ourselves and implemented drip irrigation to support year-round agricultural initiatives, establishing permanent food security. We believe that by achieving this level of sustainability, we are progressing towards self-reliance. For our goals in 2026, we recognize the need for a new tractor in addition to the older one we have been using. We plan to expand the new farming area by about 20 acres, which we opened this year. To maintain our drip irrigation system, we aim to continue its use during the next three months of the dry season in 2026—specifically in January, February, and March.
3- Consequently, in 2025, we have grown our own food to feed ourselves and resort to drip irrigation to maintain all-year-round agricultural initiatives to establish permanent food security. We believe by achieving this threshold of sustainability, we are on our way to self reliance and sustainability. Goal for 2026. In addition to an old tractor that we have been using thus far, we will need a new tractor, and to expand the new farming area about 20 acres we have opened this years we want to continue drip irrigation during the next three months of dry season in 2026 that is January, February and and March.
The Bethlehem Nursery and Primary Academy is now in its fifth year of educating the children of South Sudan. Over the past two years, the academy has successfully prepared its 8th-grade students for the South Sudan Primary Leaving Examination and has twice graduated its nursery pupils from K-3 to Primary 1. BNPA has consistently provided full salaries for its teachers and meals for its students. This year, in response to much anticipation, BNPA has illuminated its two-story building, enabling students to study at night. Additionally, the academy has acquired a new school bus and secured funding to construct two dormitories, each accommodating 100 students, with equal capacity for boys and girls. The Bethlehem Nursery and Primary Academy proudly celebrates five years of empowering the children of South Sudan. Over the past two years, the academy has successfully guided its 8th-grade students through the South Sudan Primary Leaving Examination and has celebrated the graduation of its nursery pupils from K-3 to Primary 1 on two occasions. BNPA continuously invests in its teachers by providing full salaries and in its students by offering meals. This year, in response to the community’s dedication, BNPA has illuminated its two-story building, allowing students to pursue their studies at night. Furthermore, the academy has acquired a new school bus and secured funding to construct two dormitories, each accommodating 100 students, fostering an inclusive environment for both boys and girls.
5- The NPI/JJMPI Polytechnic Institute vocational training program was established in 2024, marking a significant step towards enhancing vocational education in the region. As we celebrate the institution's second anniversary, we take pride in the fact that we have successfully graduated 30 students across various technical fields. This one-year program is meticulously designed to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge in their chosen areas of expertise. Upon completion, graduates receive certificates that validate their training and competencies, empowering them to pursue self-employment opportunities or secure positions in the job market. This aspect of our program is crucial, as it not only fosters individual growth but also contributes to the broader economic development of the community by encouraging entrepreneurship.
As we look ahead to 2026, with the academic calendar set to commence in March, we are acutely aware of the challenges that lie ahead. One of the most pressing issues we face is securing scholarships for incoming students who wish to enroll in our vocational training programs. Many prospective students come from impoverished backgrounds, making it difficult for them to afford the tuition fees and other associated costs of education. The lack of financial resources can deter talented individuals from pursuing vocational training, which is essential for their personal and professional development.
Moreover, recruiting students who are financially self-sufficient poses a significant challenge. The socio-economic conditions in the area mean that many families struggle to make ends meet, and investing in vocational education is often seen as a luxury rather than a necessity. This situation highlights the urgent need for partnerships with local businesses, government agencies, and non-profit organizations to create scholarship programs that can alleviate the financial burden on these students. By fostering collaborations, we can provide more opportunities for students to access quality education and training that will ultimately lead to better job prospects.
In addition to financial challenges, the school is also facing limitations in its facilities, which are crucial for effective hands-on training. The lack of well-equipped practical workshops significantly hampers our ability to provide comprehensive training in essential trades such as electrical engineering, welding, tailoring, information technology, and more. These facilities are vital for students to gain real-world experience and develop the practical skills that employers seek. The absence of specialized labs and workshops not only affects the quality of education but also diminishes the confidence of students when they enter the workforce.
To address these challenges, it is imperative that we seek funding and support to enhance our training facilities. Upgrading our workshops and laboratories will enable us to offer a more robust curriculum that meets industry standards and prepares students for the realities of the job market. We envision creating state-of-the-art training environments where students can engage in hands-on learning, collaborate on projects, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals in their fields.
In summary, while the NPI/JJMPI Polytechnic Institute has made commendable strides in its mission to provide vocational training, significant challenges remain. As we approach the new academic year in 2026, our focus will be on securing scholarships for deserving students and improving our training facilities. By overcoming these obstacles, we can ensure that our graduates are well-equipped to thrive in their careers and contribute positively to the community.
ONM Medical outreach plays a vital role in delivering essential medical services to the community in Kerepi subcounty, which encompasses various parishes and villages within Magwi county, located in the eastern Equatoria state of South Sudan. This outreach program is designed to address the pressing healthcare needs of the local population, many of whom face significant barriers to accessing medical care due to geographical, economic, and infrastructural challenges. The medical facilities operated by ONM are strategically located in two key places: the Messiah Ambassador's House and the BNPA (Bethlehem Nursery and Primary academy ) center. These locations have been chosen not only for their accessibility but also for their ability to serve as focal points for healthcare delivery in the region. The majority of diseases treated at these facilities are tropical diseases, which are particularly prevalent in this part of Africa due to the region's climate and environmental conditions. Notably, malaria remains one of the most critical health issues, affecting a substantial portion of the population, especially vulnerable groups such as children and pregnant women. The outreach program provides comprehensive malaria treatment, including the distribution of mosquito nets and educational initiatives aimed at prevention and awareness. In addition to malaria, typhoid fever is another significant concern, often arising from contaminated water sources and inadequate sanitation facilities. The medical outreach addresses this by not only treating patients but also promoting hygiene education and improving access to clean water. Diarrheal diseases, including stomach dysentery, are also common, particularly during the rainy seasons when waterborne illnesses tend to spike. The outreach team actively works to manage these conditions through effective treatment protocols and community health education that emphasizes the importance of proper sanitation and hygiene practices. Overall, ONM Medical outreach is not just about treating diseases; it also encompasses a holistic approach to community health, focusing on prevention, education, and the improvement of health infrastructure. By engaging with local populations and understanding their specific health challenges, the outreach program strives to build a healthier future for the communities in Kerepi subcounty and beyond, ensuring that essential medical services are accessible to all who need them.
